Make your homebase for this year’s final Last Thursday at this potluck which will feature several great live musicians in an intimate space, where you can be warm & actually hear them. Jim Wilburn, a general contractor who specializes in eco-renovation & energy efficiency, will talk briefly about how to do renovations affordably and in ways that save energy and other resources, as well as keep toxics out of your home & the waste stream; he’ll give a tour of this renovation so you can see some of the principles in a real application. Dave Richards, one of the owners of RS Energy, will talk briefly about residential solar power panel costs, logistics, & tax incentives, and show us the panels & smart meter that were installed at the Men’s Vision House. Bring your favorite food or beverage to share - something from your garden or something fresh and local, if you can.
