Obesity currently affects on average, 35% of all Americans and it’s complications now exceed those of cigarette smoking. It results in reduced life expectancy and/or increased health problems. A simple way to tell if you might have a weight problem is to calculate your Body Mass Index (BMI) using this calculator: http://www.nhlbisupport.com/bmi/. Please join us in this very special workshop where you will learn a simple, practical technique you can use for the rest of your life to address the whys of eating. It’s almost never about the food.

EFT (Emotional Freedom Technique) involves transforming your experience of triggering events or phrases using simple tapping on your body. EFT is based on a blend of techniques from traditional Chinese medicine and modern understandings of trauma recovery. By working in a group, you can learn and benefit from everyone’s experience & healing process.

INSTRUCTOR: Tom Startzman, R.N., has been a registered nurse for 29 years, is a certified EFT Practitioner and Certified Hypnotherapist. He helps his students & clients discover simple ways to manage trauma and stress as an important part of preventing or dealing with chronic illness.
