In these walks, you’ll get easy exercise, see and learn about some of the most beautiful areas of Southeast Portland, as well as enjoy walking and talking with interesting men.  These walks are appropriate for men of various fitness levels; the pace will be easy and none of them will be strenuous.  The focus will be on connecting with the interesting places we’ll visit and with one another.

10/6 Johnson Creek including hidden waterfall & fish ladder
10/13 Oaks Bottom Wildlife Preserve
10/20 Willamette Greenway


10/20 WILLAMETTE GREENWAY

This will be a beautiful evening walk along the Willamette river featuring city lights reflected on the water.
PARK: Macadam Bay (7720 SW Macadam)
      West end of the Sellwood Bridge, one block north of Staff Jennings
MEET: Greenway trailhead
      North side of the small Macadam Bay public parking lot

FACILITATOR:  Jerry Koch is a native of Southeast Portland who has led walks in his neighborhood for other walking groups.  He loves to show men the hidden beauty and history of Portland, as well as create community through walking and conversation.

SPONSOR: Donations benefit Manifest, a non-profit men’s wellness community offering more than 50 events each month for adult men of all ages, sizes, races, fitness levels, & backgrounds; no one is ever turned away from our events for lack of funds; work/study available if you call BEFORE the event to schedule.
