POSITIVELY SOCIAL is a group of HIV+ men that hosts various fun activities to meet and socialize.  Participants can attend or host dinner potlucks, craft nights, game nights, or movie nights; meet for prearranged physical activities such as hiking, walking, canoeing; attend special activities such as tours of the Japanese Gardens, Chinese Gardens, or Rose Gardens.
                   
GOALS: Safe and comfortable environment for HIV+ men to meet, socialize, grow past the stigma of HIV, and most of all, HAVE FUN!

BENEFITS: Build community and trust within the HIV+ Men’s Community.

FACILITATOR’S EXPERIENCE & CREDENTIALS: Jeffrey Smith: M.A. Conflict Resolution and six years working and volunteering in the Portland LGBT community.

SUGGESTED DONATION:  $5-$15 sliding scale donation benefits Manifest, a non-profit men’s wellness community; no one turned away for lack of funds; work-study available if you call in advance to schedule your hours.
