SIMPLE NEW YEAR’S EVE (Manifest NE Studio)

6:30-8:00 pm Potluck Dinner
8pm-12am Heart Circle

You’re invited to a simple New Year’s Eve gathering hosted by Manifest that will consist of a potluck dinner followed by a candlelit heart circle where each of us will be invited to answer the following three questions:

1. What are you grateful for from 2008?
2. What are you ready to let go of from 2008?
3. What are you ready to welcome into your life in 2009?

This event is for anyone inspired by this theme, regardless of gender, although minors must be accompanied by their parent or guardian. There will be no drugs, alcohol, or loud music at this event. 

Instead we’ll eat great food, hot cider, wonderful teas, and then gather in a simple circle to share & listen deeply from our hearts.  After each of us answers each question, we’ll light a candle.  There will be no commenting on or questioning one another’s answers; only heartfelt listening.  We’ll take turns being one another’s scribes, if you want to take a written record of your answers home. 

At midnight we’ll bang pots, ring bells, clap, and welcome in the new year.  Those who wish to can spend the night on pads and bedding in the studio and have breakfast with us in the morning.

Suggested contributions: 
* $5-$10 sliding scale benefits Manifest, a non-profit men’s wellness community; no one turned away for lack of funds.  Please also bring
* your favorite food to share with several others
* (non-alcoholic) beverage to share with several others
* 3 votive candles
